Meghan's Mission Provides Turkey Dinners for Snow Plow Drivers During State of Emergency
When a state of emergency was declared during the relentless snowstorm the weekend of January 25, 2025, most people were retreating to the safety of their fireplaces, but the region’s snow plow drivers were just beginning their longest shifts of the year.
Recognizing these unsung heroes, our organization mobilized to ensure they were fueled by turkey dinners with all the fixings. We spent the peak of the storm providing these hot, hearty meals directly to the drivers as they cleared the way for emergency vehicles, turning a grueling state of emergency into a moment of community connection and gratitude.
